PURPOSE: A system for providing cloud based software as a service (SaaS) for protecting personal information and a method thereof are provided to offer a personal information protection security service of a package software type or a server-client type to the cloud based SaaS, thereby enabling a small scale user to reduce costs necessary for the personal information protection security service. CONSTITUTION: A user requests a security service through a security service unit by connecting a cloud based SaaS security platform (S301).
