Summary:PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition is provided to minimize side effects and to show excellent immediate release and controlled release properties, thereby quickly showing drug efficacy with excellent drug compliance and convenience. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition comprises immediate release particles and controlled release particles. The immediate release particles contain: a core layer containing D-threo-methylphenidate; and a taste masking layer selected among hydroxypropyl methylcellulose acetate succinate (HPMCAS), dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate-butyl methacrylate-methyl methacrylate copolymers, and a mixture thereof. The controlled release particles comprises: the core layer; and a release-controlled layer selected among methacrylate-ethyl acrylate copolymers, ethyl acrylate-methyl methacrylate copolymers, and a mixture thereof.
