Summary:PURPOSE: A radio frequency tag-using smart product management device and a method thereof exactly spot the location of a product by using changes in the intensity of interfering signals among products with a radio frequency tag. CONSTITUTION: A response signal intensity measuring unit (210) measures the intensity of a response signal sent in response to a periodical calling signal transmitted to an area containing radio frequency (RF) shelves and RF products. A determination unit (220) determines whether an identifier of a new RF product is included by sensing an appearance of an interfering signal which exceeds a signal intensity range set in the response signal and comparing the response signal with a set of certain RF product identifiers. When it turns out that an interfering signal which exceeds a signal intensity range appears in response to the response signal and an identifier of a new RF product is included, an interfering signal group setting unit (230) sets an interfering signal group for the compared RF products.
