PURPOSE: An antibacterial composition containing Bacillus licheniformis NB109 as an active ingredient is provided to ensure broad antibacterial activity spectrum against various bacteria, and to be used for sterilization, antibacterial property, and antiseptic property in acrochemicals, pharmaceutical products, cosmetic products, and daily supplies without toxicity or irritation. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial composition contains Bacillus licheniformis NB109(KCTC 12256BP) or a culture thereof as an active ingredient. The strain has 16S rRNA sequence of sequence number 1. The strain has antibacterial activity against bacteria selected from a group consisting of Bacillus sp., Staphylococcus sp., Pseudomonas sp., Escherichia coli, Candida sp., Proteus sp., Erwinia sp., and Ralstonia sp. An anticancer composition against breast cancer, immune cancer, or kidney cancer contains the strain or the culture thereof as an active ingredient.
