Summary:PURPOSE: An automatic fire extinguisher for a heater is provided to extinguish the fire of the heater because a wick lifter automatically operates in a state where the heater is turned over by providing force for the initial rotating power of a ratchet bracket with an operating part. CONSTITUTION: An automatic fire extinguisher for a heater comprises a wick driving shaft(11), a ratchet unit, an elastic member(16) for the driving shaft, and an operating part(17). The driving shaft is connected to a wick. The ratchet unit comprises a ratchet gear(12), a ratchet bracket(13), and an elastic member for a rotary shaft. The elastic member for the driving shaft is wound on the wick driving shaft and is wound or unwound according to the rotational direction of the wick driving shaft. The operating part interacts with the ratchet unit to release the locking of the wick driving shaft.
