Summary:PURPOSE: A battery charging device is provided to charge constant current by a permanent magnet generator by using a property that the voltage and the frequency of the permanent magnet generator are proportional to a rotary speed of the generator and using another property that impedance of a reactor is inversely proportional to a frequency. CONSTITUTION: A generation unit(110) is formed with a permanent magnet generator. The generation unit generates AC power source. A reactor unit(120) is serially connected to the generation unit. The reactor unit allows a current of the AC power source to maintain constant current. A rectification unit(130) rectifies the AC power source to DC power source.
