Summary:PURPOSE: A power estimation apparatus using a coaxial winding transformer is provided to accurately estimate secondary power. CONSTITUTION: A power estimation apparatus(10) comprises a switching control unit(11), a coaxial winding transformer(12), and an power estimation unit(13). The switching control unit generates a primary current by switching a control of input power source. The coaxial winding transformer receives a primary current and outputs a secondary current according to a winding ratio of primary winding versus secondary winding. The power estimation unit senses the output of auxiliary winding according to the winding ratio of primary winding versus secondary winding and estimates the output power of secondary winding.
