Summary:PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing the rim of a lens is provided to simultaneously process a groove, a protruded part, and a sill because the rim parts of glass lenses are processed in the same shape as the rim of a pair of glasses. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing the rim of a lens comprises a main rotation unit(20), a model input unit(30), and a processing unit(40). The main rotation unit fixes a model lens(1) and a lens(2) to be processed to the top of a base(10). A worker rotates a main spindle(21) through a handle(26) of the main rotation unit. The model input unit has a contact pin(32) and a lever(31). The contact pin touches the model lens and moves the main rotation unit. The lever is connected to the main rotation unit. The processing unit is composed of a tool(41) having a cutting blade(41').
