Summary:PURPOSE: A silencer for large engine is provided to reduce noise of a large engine by expanding a double-layer expanding tube. CONSTITUTION: A silencer for large engine comprises a silencer body(1), a double-layer expanding tube(2) and a sound absorption rod(3). The silencer body has a combining aperture(13) on a bottom side. The silencer body comprises a casing(11) and a rain container(12) at an upper end. The silencer body is separated from the lower part of a sound absorbing part and an exhausting part. The double-layer expanding tube comprises an inner pipe(21) and an outer pipe(22). Multiple sound absorption rods are installed on the sound absorbing part of the silencer body. The sound absorption rod is filled inside the outer cover to the sound-absorbing material.
