Summary:PURPOSE: A handrail for preventing impurities from getting caught using buoyancy and rotation is provided to minimize the damage of a handrail and the contraction of flow cross section due to impurities. CONSTITUTION: A handrail(100) for preventing impurities from getting caught using buoyancy and rotation comprises: a fixed post(110) composed of a fixed plate(111) and a post portion(112), and fixed to two side portions(A) of a bridge, the outside of a bottom plate, or, the outside of a sidewalk; a rotary post(120) composed of a bottom fixed post(121) and a top rotary post(122) provided with a bar(123), and fitted to the fixed post to be rotatable freely; and a locking device(130) composed of a locking rib(131) fitted to the top rotary post to be arranged to the upper part of each bar and provided with a locking groove(134), a supporter(132) connecting one side of the locking rib and extended to the lower part of a bearing along the rotary post, and a buoyancy body(133) arranged to be fixed integrally to the outside of the support.
