PURPOSE: A two-stage bidirectional isolated DC/DC power converter which uses a fixed duty LLC resonant converter is provided to reduce stress and implement high efficiency by including a switch element in an input side and an output side, respectively. CONSTITUTION: In a two-stage bidirectional isolated DC/DC power converter using a fixed duty LLC resonant converter, an LLC resonant converter is operated using a fixed duty ratio. A bidirectional converter performs a boost converter function and a buck converter function. The bidirectional converter controller maintains the input voltage of the LLC resonant converter. The bidirectional converter controller controls the output of the boost converter in a forward direction. . The bidirectional converter controller controls external output when in a reverse direction.
