Summary:PURPOSE: A safe system for pedestrians on a crosswalk using a microwave sensor and operating method thereof are provided to obtain the state of a pedestrian using a microwave sensor and informing drivers of the state. CONSTITUTION: A microwave sensor(10) is composed of a transceiving unit(12) and a modem unit(13). The microwave sensor senses whether a corresponding object walks. A control device(20) comprises a gateway(21), a camera(22), and an alert display unit(23). The control device shares the current state and operation state of each device. A management server(30) remotely controls the microwave sensor and the control device.
