Summary:PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide is provided to ensure elution rate of diurectic and to reduce the size and weight of the composition. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition comprises: a matrix core containing telmisartan and basic materials; a first coated layer which is coated on the core and contains polyvinyl pyrolidone; and a second coated layer which is coated on the first coated layer and has hydrochlorothiazide and polyvinyl pyrolidone. The composition contains 20-80 mg of telmisartan and 6.25-25 mg of hydrochlorothiazide.
