Summary:PURPOSE: A lamp socket is provided to prevent corrosion and current leakage by blocking external air with insertion of a lamp electrode part. CONSTITUTION: If a lamp electrode part(110) is nearly completely inserted, the air pushes looped protrusions(221,222,223) to a opening direction with pressure. If the first and third looped protrusions are pushed, slope surfaces(SL1,SL2) is closely adhered to a surface of a lamp(100). In order to increase a close adhesion area with the surface of the lamp after insertion of the lamp electrode part, the slope surface of the first and third looped protrusions slopes from a receiving direction to the opening direction. A receiving space(S) is nearly vacuous condition.
