CONSTITUTION: An underground square excavating method using a steel material casing earth retaining wall comprises: a step of vertically or horizontally excavating a tunnel(71) for the underground square excavation; a step of horizontally excavating an upper space(72) of the underground square plan location; a step of placing an inner and an outer wall casing on an earth retaining wall installation position; a step of excavating the interval between the inner and outer casing; a step of digging to the inner and outer casing the excavation bottom; and a step of mounting an connecting inner and outer casings on the upper part of the inner and the outer casing.
