Summary:PURPOSE: An adjustable operating mechanism of a kick-down switch is provided to cut down the cost of a vehicle by controlling the occurrence time of kick-down by a kick-down switch in stages. CONSTITUTION: An adjustable operating mechanism of a kick-down switch contains a stopper(3) provided with an incline inclined in one direction, a kick-down switch having a detent provided with a projection having an incline corresponding to the incline of the stopper, and an mounting groove formed in an accelerator pedal arm(2) to house the kick-down switch inward to be movable from side to side.
