Summary: | A current limiter mounted type terminal device for a superconductive cable is provided to maximize safety of a power system by limiting a fault current when a ground fault or a short-circuit fault is occurred in a superconductive cable. A current limiter mounted type terminal device for a superconductive cable comprises a refrigerant tank(30), a vacuum insulation vessel(40), an insulator(50), a current lead(60), and a superconductive current limiter(70). An end part of a superconductive cable(20) is loaded in the refrigerant tank. A refrigerant(31) is filled inside the refrigerant tank. The vacuum insulation vessel surrounds an outer part of the refrigerant tank. The insulator is arranged on a top of the vacuum insulation vessel. One end of the current lead is connected to the end part of the superconductive cable. The other end of the current lead is extended inside the insulator through the refrigerant tank and the vacuum insulation vessel, and is connected to an overhead transmission line or a bus line of a power device. The superconductive current limiter is installed in a center of the current lead inside the refrigerant tank, and limits a fault current. |
