Summary:Purslane tea and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remove strong smell of the purslane and foreign materials and to minimize unit processes automatically. A manufacturing method of purslane tea comprises the following steps of: collecting, cutting, and washing the purslane; processing the purslane with 90-140kgf/cm^2 pressure of steam vapor for 1 minutes 30 second and drying with cool air; drying the cooled purslane at 60-70 °C for 15-25 minutes; dehydrating the cooled purslane at 50-70 °C for 20-40 minutes; roasting the dehydrated purslane at 70-80 °C for 30-50 minutes, and roasting again at 90-100°C for 40-60 minutes; and adding flavor into the purslane at 60-80 °C for 5-15 minutes and cooling the purslane.
