Summary:A pot bearing is provided to restrict the horizontal movement of a superstructure in the direction perpendicular to a bridge, to allow the horizontal movement in the bridge axis direction, to prevent an accidental fall of a bridge and to improve durability by keeping the load added on a bearing plate not to be eccentric. A pot bearing(100) installed between a superstructure and a substructure of a bridge comprises a lower plate(120) fixed to the substructure and provided with a circular concave seating groove(122) on the upper side, a buffer pad(140) located on the inside of the seating groove and having the thickness lower than the depth of the seating groove, an intermediate plate(150) having a cylinder portion inserted to the inside of the seating groove and supported to the lower side of the buffer pad and a rectangular portion(155) extended to the upper side of the cylinder portion and mounted to the seating groove of the lower plate, a bearing plate(165) having a dimple on the upper side, and an upper plate(180) having a cap-shaped structure provided with a rectangular groove on the lower side and fixed to the lower side of the upper plate.
