Summary:A method for preparing a cosmetic composition, a method for increasing the antioxidizing effect of a natural plant extract, and a method for increasing the whitening effect of a natural plant extract are provided to improve the whitening effect of a cosmetic composition using a natural plant extract. A method for preparing a cosmetic composition comprises the steps of irradiating a proton beam to the natural plant extract having a whitening effect and an antioxidizing effect; and mixing the natural plant extract where a proton beam is irradiated with a carrier acceptable for the preparation of cosmetics. Preferably the dose of a proton beam is 500-20,000 Gray.
