Summary:A volume reduction method for the waste styrofoam is provided to prevent the fire and environmental contamination by using the orange oil as a solvent which is the natural material. A volume reduction method for the waste Styrofoam comprises the following steps of: a crushing stage(S1) for crushing a particle by the size of 0.2~0.5 cm after collecting the waste Styrofoam; a dissolution stage(S2) dissolving the waste styrofoam and forming the solution of the liquid by injecting orange oil and the waste styrofoam; a filtration step(S3) filtrating the formed solution by being fixed for 3~5 minutes and subsiding the foreign material; a precipitating vacuum filtering step(S4) for vacuum filtering precipitation agent with being transformed to the white pons by injecting precipitation agent selected from the group consisting of the melt solution, ethers, the alcohols and their combination to become the solid loading of 1 : 1~5; a secondary precipitating vacuum filtering step(S5) for second vacuum filtering precipitation agent by injecting precipitation agent selected from the group consisting of the vacuum filtered melt solution, ethers, the alcohols and their combination to become the solid loading of 1 : 1~5; a extraction isolation step(S6) extracting the fused orange oil in the melt solution; a oil recovery step(S7) collecting the separated orange oil; a distillation under reduced pressure isolation step(S8) separating the melt solution to recovery the precipitation agent and water; and a consummatory volume reduction stage(S9) completing volume reduction with separately collecting the precipitation agent and water.
