A cyclo-turning gear for a ship engine includes a motor(101), and a chain sprocket(1'). The motor has a brake(102) integrally formed therewith. The motor has a rotary shaft. The rotary shaft is connected to the chain sprocket by a chain(103) to transmit a rotary force of the motor to the turning gear. The turning gear has a plurality of connection rollers(105). The connection rollers are installed at an inner periphery of the turning gear apparatus using bolts(104).
