Summary: | A PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) controller is provided to reduce damage of a switching element and improve noise generation due to counter electromotive force. A PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) controller includes a phase sensing unit, a flywheel circuit, and a PWM control unit. The phase sensing unit senses a crossover section from input AC power. The flywheel circuit transmits electromotive force generated in crossover. The PWM control unit determines the crossover section based on a signal sensed in the phase sensing unit and sends a signal for maintaining a turn-on or turn-off state of a switching element(Q3) in the crossover section. The phase sensing unit includes a resistor(R1) and a photocoupler(PC). The resistor limits current to detect the crossover section. The photocoupler is connected to the resistor in series. |
