Summary: | A sinker cover for knitting out pile pattern in hosiery knitting machine is provided to use an operating cam selectively by half, thereby reducing the knitting time. A slider(70) is movably assembled at the lower portion of a sinker cover(20) forward and backward. An operating cam(80) for forming a semi-pile is fixed at the front lower portion of the slider. An air cylinder(100) is installed at the rear of the slider and moves the operating cam backward. A tension spring(200) is connected with both sides of the sinker cover and the slider. A protrusion(12) for forming a semi-pile is protruded to the upper portions of the half of sinkers among the sinkers. The slider has a guide pin inserted into an oblong hole of a slider groove. The air cylinder has a piston fixed at the rear of the slider and contacted with a supporter(90). The slider groove guides the forward and backward movement of the slider. |
