Summary:A part loading box orientation checking system is provided to permit a robot to load parts in a loading box in a stable and accurate manner without verifying the direction of the loading box being conveyed. A part loading box orientation checking system includes a sensing bracket(3), a sensing pin(7), a spring(9), a proximity sensor(11), and a controller. The sensing bracket is mounted on a side surface of a robot arm(1). The sensing pin is mounted on the sensing bracket, and slides in the direction perpendicular to a loading box(5) in accordance with the movement of the robot arm. The spring elastically supports the sensing pin such that the sensing pin is projected toward the loading box with respect to the sensing bracket. The proximity sensor is mounted on the sensing bracket so as to detect the sliding of the sensing pin. The controller takes, as an input, a signal from the proximity sensor. The proximity sensor is arranged on the position of judging whether the sensing pin has moved in the direction opposite to the loading box with respect to the sensing bracket while transforming the spring.
