Summary:A manual opening and closing structure for a horizontally buckled multi-fold umbrella is provided to have a simple structure, to be conveniently controlled, and to be opened and closed by being pulled and pushed. A manual opening and closing structure for a horizontally buckled multi-fold umbrella includes a lower cover(2), a pulling hook(4) and a buckling structure disposed on a lower recess. The pulling hook is connected to the lower cover. The cross section of the buckling structure has the shape of an arch that is curved inwardly and is horizontally curved on the lower cover. The moving direction of the buckling structure and an umbrella rod(1) of the lower cover are at a right angle with each other. The pulling hook is installed on the outer sides of the buckling structure and the lower cover.
