Summary:A composition comprising vegetable oil and liquid calcium is provided to prevent crack and control pathogen invasion in fruits without harmful effects and environmental pollution, improve convenience of application and replace conventional methods including rain-blocking culture, packet culture and agrichemical spraying. A composition for preventing crack and controlling pathogen invasion in fruits comprises 40-60 wt.% of vegetable oil, 30-50 wt.% of liquid calcium and 5-15 wt.% of emulsifier selected from polyethylene castor oil, sorbitan monooleate, polyoxyethylenelaurylether and fatty acid methyl ester, wherein the liquid calcium is obtained by reacting tangerine peel with an acid and has pH 4-5.
