Summary: | A polyamide/polyolefin blend resin composition is provided to ensure excellent melt strength, tensile elongation, impact strength, toughness and solvent/gas barrier property. A polyamide/polyolefin blend resin composition comprises: 30-70 w% of at least one polyamide resin selected from the group consisting of nylon 6, nylon 7, nylon 8, nylon 10, nylon 12, nylon 66, nylon 69, nylon 610, nylon 611, nylon 612, nylon 6T, nylon 6/66, nylon 6/12, nylon 6/6T, and resins containing amide and carboxy groups derived from one ore more three membered or higher membered cyclic lactams or omega-amino acids; 20-60 wt% of at least one polyolefin resin selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-propylene rubber, ethylene-octene rubber and ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber; 1-30 wt% of at least one modified polyolefin resin selected from the group consisting of polyolefin resins, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-propylene rubber, ethylene-octene rubber or ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber grafted with maleic anhydride; and 0.1-5 wt% of a polycarbodiimide compound. |
