Summary:A swing hinge device of a portable terminal is provided to combine one pair of housings so that the combined housings can be horizontally rotated, thus double width of horizontal viewing functions can be offered on a display device according to usage environments of the terminal, thus a user can conveniently watch TV. The first swing member(202) is pivotally combined with a hinge base(201). The second swing member(203) is combined as being confronted with the first swing member in order to be horizontally rotated. As the first swing member is rotated, the second swing member is rotated to an inclined position from a parallel state on the hinge base together with the first swing member.
