Summary:A socket adaptor for a programmer is provided to improve the reliability of operations of loading a program from the socket adaptor to a device, and reduce cost significantly which is required to use the programmer and the socket adaptor by replacing only a conductive pad, a low-cost part, when the socket adaptor is damaged. A BGA pattern is formed to be electrically connected to the second pin(53) of a second substrate(55). A gripper is fixed on the second substrate, forms a through hole to expose the BGA pattern, and is configured to enable a clamp to pressurize a device if a pressurizing member ascends and enable the clamp to release the device if the pressurizing member descends. A conductive pad(7) is interposed between the gripper and the BGA pattern of the second substrate. The lower side of the conductive pad is connected to the BGA pattern. A conductive pattern is formed so that the upper side of the conductive pad can be connected to a terminal of the device. A fixing unit fixes the conductive pad and the gripper in the predetermined position of the second substrate and is configured to be separable.
