Summary:A method for improving the starting ability of an LPI(Liquefied Petroleum Injection) vehicle is provided to optimize stand-by time in accordance with the degree of vaporization of fuel. A method for improving the starting ability of an LPI vehicle includes a step(S101) of inputting a coolant temperature, an intake air temperature and a fuel temperature at an ignition on state, recognizing a previous cycle engine operating time, and starting a pump and a timer; a step(S102) of turning on a stand-by lamp; a step(S103) of driving a fuel pump; a step(S104) of checking a pitch center diameter start condition or a pitch center diameter re-start condition; a step(S105) of checking whether a fuel pressure has reached a target fuel pressure if the condition is other than the pitch center diameter start condition or the pitch center diameter re-start condition; a step(S106) of comparing a coolant temperature condition and a reference value if the fuel pressure has not reached the target fuel pressure; a step(S107) of checking a cycle engine operating time previous to a hot condition if the coolant temperature is higher than the reference value; a step(S109) of checking a factor value in accordance with an outdoor air temperature if the cycle engine operating time previous to the hot condition is higher than the reference value; a step(S110,S111) of comparing the value obtained by multiplying the factor value to the cycle engine operating time previous to the hot condition and the fuel temperature, and the stand-by lamp on time; and a step(S112) of turning off the stand-by lamp if the value obtained in the previous step exceeds the stand-by lamp on time.
