Summary:A mouthpiece type optical cure apparatus for periodontal disease is provided to have a simplified structure that can be mounted in a patient's mouth, and to improve convenience by reducing restriction of the patient's movement during curing. A mouthpiece type optical cure apparatus for periodontal disease includes: a mouthpiece member(110) having an insertion chasm so as to wrap the teeth and a part of the gums by being inserted into the mouth, and made of a silicone; a light source array comprising plural light sources arrayed in the mouthpiece member so as to irradiate a light to the teeth and gums; and a controller(140) for controlling drive of the light sources. The light source array has a primary light source array and a secondary light source array. A primary light source is an LED for a blue light, and a secondary light source is an LED for a red light.
