Summary:A dual support structure for supporting an extended spherical LNG storage tank is provided to stably support the LNG storage tank by using a support skirt, and make extending the height of the storage tank easier. A dual support structure for supporting an extended spherical LNG storage tank includes a connecting section(20) and a support skirt. The connecting section includes a first connecting section located on the upper side of the LNG storage tank and a second connecting section connected to a lower portion of the first connecting section and located on the lower side of the LNG tank. The support skirt includes an upper support skirt(30) installed on the outer peripheral surface of the first connecting section and fixed to a hull and a lower support skirt(31) installed on the outer peripheral surface of the second connecting section and fixed to the hull.
