Summary:A method of repairing defective uniformity of a tire is provided to shorten the repairing time by weakening the rigidity of the tire by primarily pressurizing the area of the tire having defective uniformity with 1.5 to 60kg/cm^2 of pressure, then applying ultrasonic vibration energy to raise the temperature, and then secondarily pressurizing the area with the same pressure, thereby altering the permanent elongation of the carcass cord to repair the defective uniformity of the tire. A method of repairing defective uniformity of a tire comprises the steps of: placing the area of a tire(2) having defective uniformity close to a contacting side of a horn of a ultrasonic generating unit(1); primarily pressurizing the area of the tire to be repaired with 1.5 to 60 kg/cm^2 of pressure using a pressurizing unit(4); applying ultrasonic vibration energy on the area of tire having defective uniformity for 2 to 60 seconds for number of times; and secondarily pressurizing the area of the tire having defective uniformity with 1.5 to 60kg/cm^2 of pressure using the pressurizing unit when the temperature of the defective area applied with the ultrasonic vibration energy rises above 120 degree Celsius.
