Summary: | A method for analyzing delay for a multimedia streaming service is provided to quickly/precisely analyze quality and difficulty of an on-demand multimedia streaming service by defining/calculating physical delay, queuing delay, and client/server processing delay, calculating an average of each delay, and determining the biggest average as the main difficulty of whole service delay. Whole RTT(Round Tripe delay Time) is calculated by measuring whole packet transceiving time between a server and a client. The RTT is analyzed and divided into the physical delay, the queuing delay, the client processing delay, and the server processing delay generated in packet transceiving. The average of each delay is calculated and the biggest average is determined as the main difficulty of whole service delay. |
