Summary:An antenna selection system using a multi-input multi-output and an antenna selection method thereof are provided to obtain a channel with a maximum capacity through a simple calculation. An antenna selection system using a multi-input multi-output includes a transmitting stage(201) and a receiving stage(202). The transmitting stage(201) has a first data processing unit(210) for performing and mapping transmission data as binary data and an antenna selection unit(220) for selecting an antenna to transceive the data processed at the first data processing unit(210). The receiving stage(202) includes a receiving unit(230), a channel estimation unit(240), an antenna selection determining unit(250), and a second data processing unit(260). The second data processing unit(260) inversely processes the data to reconstruct the data as the transmission data if the data is received through the antenna selected by the antenna selection information.
