Summary:A communication device having more than two network interfaces to support more than two heterogeneous communication services and a method for setting unique network interface numbers therein are provided to simplify a manufacturing process by omitting the process of inputting the unique number of the second network interface and to solve a problem of a difficulty in managing the unique number of the second network interface by enabling service providers to obtain the unique number of the second network interface from the unique number of the first network interface. A communication device comprises the first network interface(231), the second network interface(232), a controller(233), an input part(234), and an output part(235). The first network interface(231) is for voice or data communication services, based on CDMA, GSM, and IMT-2000. The second network interface(232) is for wireless data communication services, based on standards IEEE802.11 or IEEE 802.16. The controller(233) sets a unique number to the second network interface(232) by changing the unique number of the first network interface(231) into the unique number of the second network interface(232). In this case, the unique number of the first network interface(231) can be an ESN(Electronic Serial Number), and the unique number of the second network interface(232) can be a MAC(Medium Access Control) address.
