A portable alarm apparatus for security includes a main actuator and a remote controller. The main actuator has a body(22) provided with an attaching/detaching member(70), an antenna installed in the body, an RF receiver demodulating the signal received by the antenna, a burglar detector(40) detecting sliding operation of a movable member, a main controller receiving the data detected by the burglar detector, an alarm generator, and a power source. The remote controller has a remote control unit, an RF transmitter modulating the signal output from the remote control unit, and a power source.
