CONSTITUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises a vacuum vessel; an electron source arranged in the vessel; an accelerating electrode arranged in the vacuum vessel so as to accelerate electrons emitted from the electron source; a voltage apply terminal of the accelerating electrode, led out from the vacuum vessel; and a conductive member disposed around a site where the voltage apply terminal of the accelerating electrode is led out.
