Summary:PURPOSE: A member for friction welding is provided to restrict deformation of the joint, and to bond two panels quickly and firmly by arranging the connecting member in the bonding portion and mounting a convex part protruded for the tool in the bonding member. CONSTITUTION: Panels(31,32) are manufactured by extruding aluminum alloy, and composed of two parallel plates(33,34) and a third member(35) connecting the plates. The end of the plate of the panel is bonded to the end of the plate of the other panel by friction welding. A vertical plate(36) is formed in the end of the panel to connect the plates and to maintain the rigidity in friction welding, and arranged perpendicularly to the two plates. The first plate is protruded more than the connection portion of the first plate and the third plate, and a convex part is protruded from the outside of the first plate to the second plate. Friction welding is performed by inserting a rotating tool(50) to the convex part.
