Summary:PURPOSE: An apparatus for purifying runoff is provided which prevents overload of runoff during discharging of runoff due to torrential rain by intensively purifying initial runoff containing a large amount of contaminants and discharging sustaining runoff that hardly contains contaminants as it is. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a box structured main body(10) in which a receiving space is formed; a runoff inflow port(11) penetratingly formed on an upper wall or side wall of the main body; a filter cartridge replacement port(16) penetratingly formed on the upper wall or side wall of the main body; a lid(14) mounted on the main body to open and close the filter cartridge replacement port; an initial runoff sewage sedimentation part(20) formed in a space above the bottom surface of the main body adjacently to the runoff inflow port; a filter cartridge(30) spaced apart from the initial runoff sewage sedimentation part in a certain distance and removably installed with being closely adhered to second surface of third surface among inner side surfaces of the main body; an initial runoff filter inflow channel (A) formed by a space between the filter cartridge and the bottom surface of the main body; a purified water discharge prt(12) penetratingly formed on one side wall of the main body in the upper side of the filter cartridge; a sustaining runoff overflow guiding part(40) projected to the side of the initial runoff sewage sedimentation part at a position higher than the filter cartridge in a region between the initial runoff sewage sedimentation part and the filter cartridge; a partition wall(13) formed at the lower side of the sustaining runoff overflow guiding part to separate the initial runoff sewage sedimentation part from the other space; and an initial runoff filter guiding channel (B) formed by a space between the sustaining runoff overflow guiding part and the partition wall.
