PURPOSE: A device and method for processing statistics data in a mobile communication switching system is provided to collect No7 signal related statistics data being generated between a switching system and a control station and to output the data by creating a library capable of collecting statistics data after No7 of a base station matching module is replaced. CONSTITUTION: A MSGC(Mobile Static Gather on Call) is connected to an STSL(Static System Library) and obtains a library address for using statistics event data(S1), and initializes a statistics data item list and a child processor managing table(S2). A MSDP(Management and Static Data Process) operates a timer for collecting statistics data per 5 minutes and a timer for creating statistics data per 15 minutes periodically(S3,S4). If a statistics requesting signal is generated from the MSDP, the MSGC reads data collected in the STSL periodically and compares the data with the previous data and checks whether the data are duplicated or not(S5). If a statistics data transmission requesting signal is generated from the MSDP, the MSGC creates a child process for a data transmission and stores the difference between the previous data and the next data in a memory(S6), and reads periodic statistics data stored in the memory and transmits the data to the MSDP(S7). 본 발명은 이동통신 시스템의 교환기와 제어국간에 발생되는 공통선 신호(CCS) 방식의 No7 신호 관련 통계 데이터를 수집하여 출력처리할 수 있도록 한 이동통신 교환기에서의 통계 데이터 처리장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 교환기와 제어국간에 발생되는 No7 신호 관련 데이터를 라이브러리가 주기적으로 수집하고, 통계 데이터의 요구 시그날이 발생되는 경우 수집된 데이터들을 상호 비교하여 그 비교 결과로 산출되는 통계 데이터를 출력하도록 함을 특징으로 하여, 링크의 비가용 상태 및 장애 발생 횟수 및 발생한 장애의 원인 등을 용이하게 인식할 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.
