PURPOSE: A method for managing an edition of data in a combiner is provided to user a resource of a system effectively by transmitting many documents in bundle, deleting unnecessary documents, and managing only necessary documents when many documents to be transmitted are stored and managed in an existing combiner or a facsimile system having a registered memory. CONSTITUTION: A central processing unit obtains data and stores the data in a memory unit(S410). It is judged whether a page edition with respect to the stored page is requested by a user through an operation panel(S420). The page edition may be a page deletion or a page merging. If a request for deleting a page is generated by a user, a page to be deleted is selected and the selected page is deleted(S430). If a request for merging pages is generated by a user, pages to be merged are selected and the selected pages are merged(S440). 본 발명은 송신을 위해 메모리에 저장된 데이터 혹은 수신된 데이터를 페이지 단위로 삭제 혹은 추가하여 문서를 관리하는 복합기에서의 데이터 편집 관리 방법에 관한 것으로, 소정의 경로를 통해 데이터를 획득하여 저장하고, 상기 저장된 데이터에 대해 페이지 편집을 요청하는지 판단하여, 페이지 삭제에 대한 요청이 발생한 경우, 삭제할 페이지를 선정하여 페이지를 삭제하고, 페이지 병합에 대한 요청이 발생한 경우, 병합할 페이지를 선정하여 페이지 병합을 수행한다. 본 발명에 따르면 제한된 메모리를 갖는 기존의 복합기 혹은 팩스 시스템에서 송신할 여러 문서를 메모리에 저장, 관리할 수 있는데 이때 여러 문서의 일부 혹은 전부를 합쳐서 송신하거나, 전송할 필요성이 없는 문서 혹은 임의의 페이지를 삭제하고, 여러 개의 수신된 문서가 있을 때 필요한 문서들만을 모아서 관리하고 나머지는 삭제하여 추후 재송신을 하거나 인쇄하여 시스템 자원을 효율적으로 사용하는 효과가 있다.
