Summary: | PURPOSE: An RF direct conversion receiver is provided to be capable of accurately demodulating only signals of desired band and combining two oscillators into one by removing an IF conversion step and a circuit element therefor. CONSTITUTION: Signals output from a band pass filter(10) are amplified by a low noise amplifier(20), which output is amplified by an RF amplifier(20'). A variable local oscillator(300) is synchronized to the frequency of the RF amplified signal to output oscillating signals of same frequency. A demodulator(500) mixes the Rf amplified signals and the oscillating frequency signal to separate/recover two orthogonal phase modulation signals. The demodulator(500) comprises a gain controller, a phase shifter and a separator. |
