Summary: | PURPOSE: A wastewater treatment method using plant is provided, which can remove phenol and aniline related compounds in a short time and in wide range of pH, that are contained in wastewater discharged from semiconductor industry, livestock farming and agriculture, by using pickpurse and turnip which are cultivated in Korea and have excellent efficacy to make phenol and aniline components nontoxic. CONSTITUTION: The wastewater treatment method comprises the use of pickpurse (a Capsella bursa pastoris Medicus) as a plant that has peroxidase activity, which is added to wastewater together with hydrogen peroxide to make the compounds of phenol and of aniline system nontoxic. |
