Summary: | PURPOSE: A power train control system implements a general control proper to the current running characteristics of an engine and a transmission on the base of inputs from many sensors and switches. CONSTITUTION: A power train control system comprises an analog input interface(6), a frequency input interface(8), a discrete input buffer(10), a power train controller(12), an outside memory(24), a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) output driver(26), a load driver(28) and a pulse output unit(30). The analog input interface(6) controls voltages against analog type sensing signals. The frequency input interface(8) interfaces and outputs frequency type sensing signals. The discrete input buffer(10) buffers and outputs discrete signals from many switches. The outside memory(24) stores programs and data needed to control the power train controller(12). The PWM output driver(26) generates driving output signals to the load driver(28) after receiving PWM signals from the power train controller(12). The pulse output unit(30) generates a driving pulse signal. |
