Summary:PURPOSE: An apparatus for adjusting a position of an optical member and an optical scanning device are provided to easily install an optical member by adjusting a position of the optical member. CONSTITUTION: A guide hole(83b) is formed on both sides of an operating plate(83). The operating plate(83) is installed in a base by a combine screw(87) which penetrates into the guide hole(83b). An up and down unit includes a support cog(83a) equipped in the operating plate(83), a guide member(84) which is installed in the operating plate(83) and guides up and down of a support member(82) and an adjustment screw(86). The support cog(83a) is contacted with one side of the support member(82). A protrusion unit(82a) is equipped in the other side of the support member(82). One end of the adjustment screw(86) is contacted with the upper part of the operating plate(83). An adjustment reflecting mirror(81) is installed in a safe-receipt unit(82c) of the support member(82). The guide member(84) is combined with the operating plate(83).
