Summary:PURPOSE: An apparatus for a large type LCD and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to control snapping of a pad unit and generating a contact defect by preventing an adhesive material coated between LCD panels and a supporting substrate from being squeezed out. CONSTITUTION: A pad protecting film is removed to enable pad units(115,125) to contact with an external input terminal electrically after an adhesive material(197) is hardened completely. Pad units(115,125) can preserve a clean state without being polluted. The adhesive material(197) is coated on a whole supporting substrate(191) evenly and is compressed with a screen printing method or a slit coating method to prevent being squeezed out.
