Summary: | A thin plate made of an Fe-Ni alloy for electronic parts, which has excellent softening property. The alloy consists essentially of, by weight, 32 to 40% Ni, not more than 0.1% Si, not more than 0.5% Mn and 5 to 50 ppm boron, and balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities. It comprises also trace elements which fulfill the following requirements: "S+O"</=150 ppm, Al</=400 ppm, N</=50 ppm, P</=100 ppm, an element of IVa, Va and VIa Groups defined in the periodic table being not more than 2000 ppm in amount, and an atomic ratio of "B(atom. %)/N(atom. %)" being not less than 0.8, preferably more than 1.0. The invention also relates to a shadow mask made of the alloy and a cathode-ray tube comprising the shadow mask. |
