반도체장치 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로써, 박형의 패케이지로 하기 위해, 장방형상의 반도체칩의 회로형성면의 대략 중심영역에 얇은 금속박으로 되는 공용 내부리이드를 긴변방향과 거의 평행하게 고정하여 배치하고, 또 그 위에 프레임 형상의 여러개의 신호용 내부리이드 및 공용 내부리이드를 적층, 고정해서 수지로 봉한 것이다. 이러한 반도체장치 및 그 제조방법을 이용하는 것에 의해, 공용 내부리이드를 본딩와이어가 건너뛰는 일이 없어 단락할 위험이 없고, 다중 본딩이 가능하며, 반도체칩의 주면에서 본딩와이어의 정점까지의 높이를 낮게 할 수 있어 박형의 패케이지를 제작할 수 있다. Disclosed is a resin-molded type semiconductor device having a thin package while avoiding short-circuit of wires with a common inner lead. In the construction thereof, a common inner lead constituted by a thin metal sheet is fixed onto a circuit-forming surface of a rectangular semiconductor chip substantially in parallel with longer sides of the chip and substantially in a central region of the chip, and a plurality of inner leads for signals, which are in the form of a frame, are stacked and fixed onto the common inner lead; then these components are molded with resin.
